De tot dus ver gebrukte, enigszins uitvoerige catalogisering vindt plaats bij de Michel Catalogus en de ANK (Austria Netto Katalog). In de Michel worden 3 hoofdnummers uitgedeeld die betrekking hebben op de door de Oostenrijkse Post als zoethoudertje uitgegeven zegels voor het grote publiek. Het gaat om de op 05.12.2003 uitgegeven zegels met het Post-embleem in zowel staand als liggend formaat.
En de later op 10.01.2006 uitgegeven zegel met de Philatelie Shop in Wenen. Alle 3 zegels waren geheel in rasterdiepdruk uitgevoerd hetgeen gezien de grote oplagen (500.000 elk) ook wel begrijpelijk is. Dat de feitelijke 'persoonlijke postzegels' geheel anders zijn - druktechnisch gezien - is voor de catalogus uitgevers niet relevant genoeg. Of ze weten gewoon niet beter. |
A rather comprehensive catalogizaton sofar can be found in only 2 catalogues: Michel österreich and ANK (Austria Netto Katalog). The 3 surrogate stamps issued by the Austrian Post can be found as main numbers in both. I.e. the issue of 05.12.2005 consitisting of 2 stamps with the Post.At logo and some text. Also the later on issued stamps depicting the Philatelic Shop in Vienna. All 3 stamps had been produced by sheet-fed photogravure in the Austrian State Printers premises, which is not surprising since the number printed: 500.000 each.
That the real 'personalized' stamps have been produced in a completely different way doesn't concern the publishers the least! Or do they really not know?? |

De ANK geeft alle zegels met een oplage van 1.000 of meer een eigen nummer in een aparte rubriek. En men is in de laatste ANK (2007/2008) net onder de 800 hoofdnummers gekomen! Michel komt niet veel verder dan de diverse combinaties van staand of liggend, kleur en landsaanduiding - in totaal 10 zegels!
De toegekende catalogus nummers in de hoofdreeks zijn: ANK 2489 en 2490 resp Michel 2456 en 2455 voor de Post-logo zegels van 2003; en ANK 2600 resp Michel 2566 voor de Philatelie Shop van 2006. De ANK geeft ook enkele postzegelboekjes een plaats en enkele gemengde vellen van 20. Het lijkt me nuttig een wat uitgebreidere opzet te maken vooral uitgaand van de druktechnische variatie - rasterdiepdruk en offset, rasterhoeken e.d. Immers de persoonlijke zegels zijn als echte postzegels een waar onderdeel van de filatelie en hebben er recht op overenkomstig behandeld te worden! |
The ANK mentions - apart from the 3 surrogate stamps - all personalized stamps with a printing above 1.000. This resulted this year (2007/2008 edition) in just below 800 stamps placed in a separate chapter of the catalogue. Michel mentions the 'real' stamps only in their 10 versions by format, country name and base colour. The main numbers in the ANK are 2489 and 2490 for the Post.at and 2600 for the Shop stamps; Michel assigns 2456 and 2455 for the Post.at stamps and 2566 for the Shop one. The ANK also lists several booklets and mixed sheets. Nevertheless, I think we ought to make a comletely different set-up based upon the printing methods involved and their derived characteristics. The personalized stamps are a part of philately in their own right being real postage stamps and deserve to be treated as such! |
