Hangblok Kon. Beatrix 0.39 TPGPost

Ondertussen was medio 2002 PTT Post overgegaan in TPG Post en kregen de blokjes een nieuw logo, ook was het Kon. Beatrix portret met de oorspronkelijke 2 stippen hersteld, nadat bij de eerste Walsall uitgave deze stippen waren verdwenen.

Per 2 januari 2003 was ook de 0.39 bestelbaar met het TPGPost logo. Pas in de loop van maart 2003 werden de eerste exemplaren gemeld. Afgezien van één bron waar de 39c met smalle hechtpunten is verkocht - Leiderdorp Hoogmadeseweg - is nog slechts de versie met brede hechtpunten gemeld.

By mid 2002 PTT Post had changed into TPG Post which led to a new logo; the Queen Beatrix portrait was restored to its original form which included 2 little dots that had disappeared when the first Walsall made stamp was issued.

deze nieuwe stans-cylinder met ogenschijnlijk brede hechtpunten - echter net iets smaller - is begin 2004 in omloop gekomen - na de 0.57 en 072. blokjes; en kennelijk ook een klein deel van de 0.39 oplage met 'W2' - en is gemeld behalve bij deze 0.39 ook bij de 1.00 met W2 alsook bij de 0.25, 0.50 en 3.00 met TPGPost logo.

the new die-cut cylinder was introduced early 2004 - after the issue of the 0.57 and 0.72 blocks and as it turns out after a small part of the 0.39 W2 printing. Can be found - apart from the 0.39 W2 -with the 1.00 W2 and also with the 0.25, 0.50 and 3.00 with TPGPost logo.

Tot dus ver werden de vouw-lijn en het hang-gat met dezelfde stans-cylinder gemaakt. Vanaf deze oplage is het hangoog in een aparte handeling waarbij de positie van het gat niet vast lag en de inhoud van het gat meoet zijn afgezogen aangebracht.

]**] So far the folding line and the eyelet were on the same die-cut cylinder. From this point onwards the eyelet was applied separately and not always placed accurately and the content of this eyelet had to be sucked off .

de voor de hangblokjes met open hangoog gebruikte slit-plaatjes [voor de pseudo-tanding, gemaakt door ROTOMETRICS] kunnen onderling nog al veschillend zijn; de buiten-slit aan de onderzijde van het zegel is of lijstvormig of rond/schuin; dit onderscheid is vrij moeilijk éénduidig vast te stellen bij de eerste oplagen en is hoogst waarschijnlijk ook bepaald door de positie binnen de 6x3 blokken omvang van de drukcylinders, echter is wel van invloed op de aanwezigheid van andere kenmerken in de slit zoals beschadigingen.

the hangblocks were kiss-die-cut by special flexible plates made by ROTOMETRICS; there are minor [?] differences between them to be found - the outer kiss die-cut at the bottom of the stamp has a straight line (like a paintings frame) or is rounded/askew it is rather hard to tell the differences - at least this goes for the first printings - without having enough material to make comparisons, is most likely dependent on the position of the blocks within the 6x3 blocks size of the printing cylinders, but other characteristics [damages] do depend on a certain type.
