Dominican Republic

Over time there have been persistent rumours that Czeslaw Slania has made banknotes for the Dominican Republic in 2000, but until today it has been  impossible to have this verified due to "secrecy policy".   It is now public that Mr. Slania has done the following banknotes for this Central American Republic:

• 20 Pesos, engraved 2000. Pick No. 160.  Slania has only engraved the church on the back side (right image).  Click on the right image to see large format.  The link will open in a new window.

• 50 Pesos, engraved 2000.  Pick No. 161.  Slania has only engraved the church on the front side (left image).  Click on the left image to see large format.   The link will open in a new window. 

• 500 Pesos, engraved 2000. Pick No. 162.  Slania has engraved the portraits on the font side (left image).   Click on the left image to see large format.  The link will open in a new window.
