De categorie geintegreerde hangboekjes omvat alle hangboekjes met zelfklevende zegels die met de buitenkant van de boekjes één geheel vormen - slechts één of meer tussenlagen vormen de scheiding. Vandaar de aanduiding "geintegreerd". Het gaat om boekjes met 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 60 of 100 zegels. De boekjes met maar 5 of 10 zegels werd door de posterijen gezien als bij uitstek bestemd voor de particuliere gebruikers, de boekjes met 50, 60 of 100 als bij uitstek bestemd voor de zakelijke gebruikers. De boekjes met 30 Zomerzegels [in 2000] of 30 Kinderzegels [2001] daarentegen kunnen moeilijk gezien worden als bestemd voor de zakelijke gebruiker. Laat staan het boekje met 50 Kinderzegels [2001]. Zelfs voor de particuliere gebruiker was dit te veel van het goede. En hoe zit het dan met de December-zegels met boekjes van 20? Kortom, vanuit gebruikers-oogpunt of vanuit postaal oogpunt is er geen duidelijke scheiding tussen hangboekjes voor de particuliere danwel voor de zakelijke gebruiker. Dat er desondanks toch een scheiding is aangebracht - de post heeft de boekjes met 5 en 10 zegels doorgenummerd in de stijl van de vroegere serie automaatboekjes van Joh. Enschedé en de hangboekjes met gegomde zegels van Walsall Security - heeft te maken met het 'de kool en de geit sparen' van de verzamelaars. De boekjes met 20 of méér zegels zijn ongetwijfeld duurder qua aanschaf en de verzamelaar die gaarne de illusie behoudt compleet te kunnen blijven wordt zo op zijn/haar wenken bediend. |
The category of integrated hangbooklets includes all hangbooklets with self-adhesive stamps that are one with the backing-layer - only one or two other layers are inbetween. That's why I call them 'integrated'. These booklets have 5, 10, 2, 30, 50, 60 or 100 stamps in them. The postal authorities consider the ones having 5 or 10 stamps to be issued primarily for the private users whereas the ones having 50, 60 or 100 to be meant for the small businees users. Booklets with 30 Summer Stamps [in 2000] or 30 Children Stamps [2001] can hardly be seen to be issued for the small businesses. Let alone the booklets with 50 Children Stamps [2001]. Even the private user wasn't interested. And what about the December Stamps in booklets of 20? Neither form a postal point of view nor from a users point of view a clear division can be made between booklets meant for private or small business users. Still there is a division - the postal authorities have numbered the booklets with 5 or 10 stamps in line with the previous (non-hanging] booklets made by Joh. Enschedé amd the hangbooklets containing gummed and perforatied stamps printed in offset-litho by Walsall Security. This has to do with the postal authorities not wanting to force the collectors into having to spend money on the obviously more expensive booklets containing 20 or more stamps. They prefer to give the collector the illusion that their collection is 'complete' pretending the other products are only 'optional'. |

Helaas gaat de georganiseerde filatelie mee met deze filosofie van de 'zwijgende massa heeft het doorslaggevende gewicht' . De handelaren catalogus vermeldde de geintegreerde hangboekjes van 20 of meer zegels al helemaal niet met als excuus dat ook complete doosjes met 100 rolzegels of rollen van 5000-zegels - in beide gevallen vanuit PTT/TPG oogpunt dwingende verkoopeenheden - niet de catalogus dienen te halen. Te ver doorgevoerde consequentie brengt ons altijd bij de duivel, wisten onze filosfisch ingestelde oosterburen al eeuwen.... Binnen de studiegroep Postaumaat werden door Simon Delfos de "mailers" apart genomen van de overige geintegreerde hangboekjes. Het nog te verschijnen handboek 'Hang and sell' van Hugo van Hamel volgt grotendeels de Postaumaat indeling. Hieronder een obstinaat ofwel een eigen wijze indeling niet alleen omdat de geintegreerde hangboekjes bijelkaar blijven maar ook omdat bij de catalogisering uitgegaan wordt van het hang&sell product en niet van het 'losse' zegel dat postfris als zodanig nooit bestaan heeft. Als tegemoetkoming aan de verzamelaars die toch graag de boekjes in 2 groepen wensen te zien een [extra] nummering voor de 'grotere' boekjes [met iHBx] en de 'kleinere' boekjes [met iHBs]. Het gebied van de 'kleine' geintegreerde hangboekjes was feitelijk afgesloten - ze waren vervangen door de geintegreerde hangblokjes! Het laatste kleine boekje verscheen in 2003. Echter op 02.01.2006 verschijnt weer een nieuw geintegreerd hangboekje met 10 zegels van 0.39 "!0 voor Nederland".... |
It's a pity that organised philatelic world plays along their line thus fooling the 'silent majority'. The catalogue issued by the Dutch Stamp Dealers Association doesn't even mention the integrated hangbooklets with 20 or stamps in it. The excuse is that complete boxes of 100 coil stamps or complete coils of 5000 stamps will also not be included in their catalogue. In these cases the purchase of the total product was just as obligatory as far as the postal authorities was concerned - so what is the dfifference? Too true - as our German neighbouring philosophers say "each consequence leads to the devil!" In the Dutch study circle "Postaumaat" the editor Simon Delfos has made a separate list of just the larger integrated hangbooklets. In his about to be released book on 'Hang&sell products" Hugo van Hamel follows this line as well. Being known for my obstinate systematics, I will continue to keep all the integrated hangbooklets together. Important to me is that I'm cataloguising the total hang&sell product not just the single stamp in it that just hadn't ever existed just by itself in mint condition. To recompensate the collectors that prefer to have 2 groups an additional numbering is presented both for the larger ones [with a iHBx suffix] as for the smaller ones [with a iHBs suffix]. The field of smaller integrated booklets was closed so it seemed. The integrated hangblocks had taken over. The last hangbooklets was issued in 2003, but now on 02.01.2006 a new small integrated hangbooklet has appeared "10 for the Netherlands".... |

De vijf geintegreerde hangboekjes met 50 zegels Kon. Beatrix die voor 1 april 2002 waren gepland zijn succesievelijk ingetrokken. Eerst werd meegedeeld dat de 39c niet zo verschijnen, later - begin februari - deelde de Collect Club mee dat de gehele serie was ingetrokken. Toch blijven deze boekjes staan op de website en de bestellijsten van Mailorder - Zakelijke Post. Bestel je ze dan blijken er 10 blokjes van 5 te worden geleverd. De fout is al jaren bekend maar wordt niet verbeterd.... |
5 integrated hangbooklets were planned for April 1st, 2002 but were withdrawn in time. The 39c was withdrawn first, the others followed. Still all sales channels - websites, catalogues - still pertain than these booklets can be bought. However when ordered, you just get a set of 10 blocks of 5! The responsible business units know about it for years, but don't bother to correct it.... |
