A fényes-matt bélyegek között is külonbséget kell tennünk. Van olyan gumioldal, amelyen jól megfigyelhetö a kb. 1 mm-enkénti viízszintes sávozas, és van olyan amely nem sávozott. Az egyes papírváltozatok közott jelentös színeltérések is vannak. Az utolsó kategória papírja a Sihl papír.
Opmerkingen:
Visueel is het verschil tussen de matte-glanzende versies niet waarneembaar, maar we moeten onderscheid maken tussen deze twee papiersoorten. Het fluoresceert onder de 1 HUF UV-lamp (1983. Vergelijkbaar met het matte-glanzende papier van de spa- en resortlijn), en de 4 en 10 HUF-lampen zijn gemaakt op het Sihl-papier dat nog steeds wordt gebruikt na 1997 (niet fluorescerend onder de UV-lamp). .
We moeten ook onderscheid maken tussen glanzend-matte zegels. Er is een gomzijde waarop de ca. om de 1 mm strepen op vijf niveaus en sommige zijn niet gestreept. Er zijn ook aanzienlijke kleurverschillen tussen elke papieren versie. Het papier in de laatste categorie is Sihl-papier.

Import papíron, import gumival, amely selymes fényü, fehér szinü, 1964-66 között használták.
Elögumizott svájci papír, tükörfényes fehér vagy sárgás gumival, 1967-töl használták.

B - Gemporteerd papier, gemporterde gom, zijdeachtig wit, gebruikt tussen 1964-66.
C - Voorgegomd Zwitsers papier met glanzend wit of geelachtige gom, gebruikt sinds 1967.

Dear Mr. Van der Brink,
I received the following reply from the editors: Some collectors prefer postally cancelled i.e. stamps used for franking, others prefer the stamps cancelled to order, therefore both postal and postage due stamps were cancelled to order for stamp collectors by the Hungarian Post.
The prices of the catalogue are informative, and we do not distinguish between postally used or CTO stamps.

I can fully understand the situation you described as that is what I did in collecting: not caring about the difference between CTO nd postally used.
So far, we agree!
The problem is that starting from the 1958 postage due stamps, practically ALL I have are CTO.
I had made a specialized collection of these posta dues years ago and when comparing this to the detailed listings on page 437 and 445, AND bearing in mind that CTO's shouldn't play a distinction aspect, - which it does as they are UNgummed and the catalogue listing refers to differences in gumming! - the catalogue listing is COMPLETELY different from what I observe!
The 3-partition mr Müller György made A, B and C for the unwatermarked postage dues DOES NOT HOLD when letting the CTO's take part in the game ;)
I am more than willing to show you my detailed listings backed up by refined scans and await the comments of mr Müller György.

Finding out that the 1958 postage dues catalogue listings are not dealing with the CTO's I am wondering whether the other details listings at the end of the catalogue - also with acontributions of mr Müller György - also were made up disregrding the CTO's?!
