Apart from his work for the Swedish Postal Administration Czeslaw Slania has also engraved most of the Swedish stamps featuring the royal family, and he has achieved the honorary title of Court Engraver.  All definitive sets are shown on this and the next page. 

In 1961 the third type of this stamp was issued, and the 1961-issue was engraved by Slania. 

The 1966-issue of King Gustav VI Adolf, with a close-up of the bottom selvedge, with the initials of the engraver (C.S. sc). To the right coil pairs of all surface values of the set + 1 booklet pair of 30 öre, the latter only found in booklets.   Scott 668, Michel 551 D.

 The king was also the father of the late Queen Ingrid of Denmark (1910-2000).

• 1972-1973.  King Gustaf VI Adolf (1882-1973). 

His son, Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf (1906-1947) was killed in an air-crash in the airport of Copenhagen (Denmark) during a visit to his sister, the late Queen Ingrid of Denmark, and he was therefore succeeded on the Throne by his grandson, Carl XVI Gustav.
